Parts of SkyCoach are not waterproof. Clear trash bags should be used to cover the parts that are not.
What to consider
- Remote Camera Kits
- Router tool box
- Antennas
- Plugs
Clear trash bags are an essential tool to have on hand. The clear trash bags have the advantage of being transparent, which enables you to conveniently view the contents inside.
When it comes to the remote camera kits, it's important to keep them dry. To protect them from moisture, simply pull a clear trash bag over them.
If the router and server tool box will be outside, it is important to cover with trash bag.
The antennas used are specifically designed for outdoor use. To prevent water damage, make sure to keep the ethernet cables positioned at the bottom, ensuring that water cannot run into them. If desired, you can also use clear trash bags to provide an additional layer of protection without interfering with the signal.
Lastly, it's often overlooked, but plugs and surge protectors also need to be safeguarded. To keep them safe from water, create a small hole at the bottom of a bag, then slide the surge protector or extension plug through it. Secure the bag with tape on both sides of the cord to ensure it remains watertight.
