What if the WiFi just spins when I try to connect?
Assuming the correct password is being used. If a WiFi just spins when you try to connect to it, that almost always means the antenna that is producing the WiFi is not talking to the router.
Likely Reasons:
The POE injector powering the antenna is not connected to the router via its lan port
The bridge antenna it is connected to does not have its 4 lock lights
If using a switch the switch is not linked back to the network via ethernet
Press box bridge antenna has secondary port connected back to the host box
Router does not have power
If everything else on the network is working try forgetting the network on the device and reentering the password
Not close enough to the antenna
Questions to think about:
Is the problem just this antenna or the entire network?
Can other devices on other parts of the network connect?
If problem on sideline is coach room working?
Are hardwired devices like the RCK connected?
Has the user successfully connected to other SkyCoach WiFis on the network?
For instance, if this is a sideline WiFi, are the press box iPads able to connect to coach box/press box/film box depending on which one their kit has?
This will help determine if isolated issue or entire network
Is this a power issue or a cabling issue?
