What is Password Protected Favorites in Shared Events?
Password Protected Favorites introduces favorites functionality to shared events for the first time. Each team can now create and access their own favorites and play tags while keeping them secure from the opposing team.

Enabling Favorites in Shared Events
- Open a shared event
- Select "Home" or "Visitor" when prompted
- You'll be prompted to set a password for your team:
- Put in a password to enable favorites functionality
- Or select "Proceed Without Password" to continue with situational data only
Accessing Your Team's Favorites
With Password Set:
- Users selecting home or visitor must enter the correct home or visitor password to access favorites
- Password saves automatically on the device so you don't have to keep entering it during the game
- Full favorites and tagging functionality available
Without Password Set:
- No favorites functionality available
- Only situational data accessible (same as previous shared event behavior)

With Password Access:
- Full play data including situational information
- Team-specific favorites and play tags
- Complete filtering capabilities including favorites
Without Password Access:
- Situational data only (quarter, series, ODK, down, distance, yard line)
- No favorites or play tagging capabilities
- Situational filtering options only
Important Notes
- This is the first time favorites are available in shared events
- Password protection is required to enable favorites functionality
- Each team (home/visitor) sets their own password per event
- Teams continue to collaborate on situational data regardless of password settings
- Opposing teams cannot access each other's favorites
- This feature is only available on SkyCoach version 18 and above. To work properly the Host, RCK, and iOS apps must all have at least version 18.
