HOST BOX: 1 RCK, 3 antennas
*The diagram at the end of this article explains where the wires are plugged in.
Press Box Station: 1 RCK, 1 host box, 3 bridge antennas, 1 mesh access point
You will need 2 power outlets: one to power the host box and one to power the RCK, both pictured below. The 3 antennas will mount to one of your stands and point at the field as indicated by their labels. These items will stay with the filmer.
Use a long ethernet cable to run from the LAN2 port on your Home Bridge Antenna (the round antenna in the photo) to the mesh Home CoachBox access point (the "skinny" antenna in the photo). Attach the foldable rods to the top of the mesh antenna.
*The skinny "rabbit ear" mesh antenna should be in the room with the coaches. This provides the SC-CoachBox-WiFi access for the home coachbox iPads and will ensure fast download speeds.
STATION BOX: 1 RCK, 5 antennas, 1 powerbox, 2 powertubes
*all of your field equipment can be found in the station box
END ZONE STATION: 1 RCK, 1 bridge antenna, 1 powerbox
You will need 2 power outlets: one for the powerbox and one to power the RCK, both pictured below. The antenna will point at the matching press box antenna as indicated by the label.
*Be sure the antenna has a clear and straight line of sight with no obstructions and avoiding the field goal post.
NOTE: The photo above has included the official's mesh access point, as the majority of cases have tied the review station to the endzone. However, in some cases this mesh access point that produces the SC-Review-WiFi will be connected to one of the sideline stations and will require the use of a powerbox (not powertube). See pictures below. And in other cases the review station
just put a picture in instead of explaining where all to tie the review LEFT OFF HERE
SIDELINE STATIONS: 1 bridge antenna, 1 mesh access point, 1 powertube
You will need 1 power outlet for the sideline powertube, pictured above. NOTE: In some cases the mesh access point that produces the SC-Review-WiFi will be connected to the sideline station and will require the use of a powerbox (second picture; not possible with powertube).
Mount the 2 antennas to one of the stands and place it at the 35 yard line. The round bridge antenna will point at the matching press box antenna as indicated by the label. Be sure the antenna has a clear and straight line of sight with no obstructions.
The skinny mesh antenna requires the booster and should be pointed down the sideline towards the ios devices. This provides the SC-Sideline-WiFi access for the sideline iPads and will ensure fast download speeds.
Any iPad can connect to the SkyCoach network via the provided access point ("WiFi") or connect directly via an ethernet adapter and switch port. Please talk to a SkyCoach team member to request direct connection on the sideline.
REVIEW STATION: 1 mesh access point
Connecting the Review-WiFi to EndZone
The diagram below assumes we are tieing the review station to the endzone we are filming from. It requires a special powerbox-v2 with mixed poe injectors specific to the antenna and RCK.
Connecting the Review-WiFi to Sideline
If you need to tie your review station to one of your sidelines, it will also require a special powerbox-v1. The poe injectors are not specific to either antenna. The powertube will not support tieing the review to the sideline.
