HOST BOX (brains)
PRESSBOX STATION: 1 host box, 1 RCK, 3 bridge antennas, 2 mesh access points, 2 switchboxes
You will need 2 power outlets: one to power the host box and one to power the RCK. The 3 round antennas will mount to one of your stands and point at the field as indicated by their labels. The host box and RCK will stay with the filmer.
Use a long ethernet cable to run from the LAN2 port on your home/visitor round bridge antenna to the respective home/visitor coach room and connect to switchbox PORT1 containing the coachbox access point.
- 1 AC red/black stickered antenna to bridge to the Home Sideline Station
- 1 AC red/white/black stickered antenna to bridge to the Visitor Sideline Station
- 1 AC red/white stickered antenna to bridge to the EndZone Station
- 2 Mesh CoachBox-WiFi antennas & 2 switchboxes to connect to devices in the press box
- SCH-CoachBox-XXXXX with switchbox for the home coach booth
- SCV-CoachBox-XXXXX with switchbox for the visitor coach booth
- 1 ethernet cable for your RCK
-
1 green gigabit router
-
1 Nuc host server
Home/Visitor switchboxes are connected to the PressBox Station
There are two switchboxes pictured below, one for home coachbox and one for visitor coachbox. These will be powered in your respective home and visitor coach rooms.
Use a long ethernet cable (pictured on the cable winder in the top left corner of the photos) to run from the LAN2 port on your Home/Visitor round bridge antenna to PORT 1 on your Home/Visitor CoachBox switch, as pictured below.
* The LAN2 port on your Home/Visitor bridge antenna (the round antenna in the photo) is the port on the right when looking at the back of the antenna.
Attach the foldable rods to the top of the mesh WiFi antenna and place the switchbox and "skinny rabbit ear" antenna in the room with the coaches.
*The skinny "rabbit ear" mesh antenna should be in the room with the coaches. This provides the SC-CoachBox-WiFi access for the home/visitor coachbox iPads and will ensure fast download speeds when placed in the coach rooms.
STATION BOX (field equipment)
SIDELINE STATIONS: 1 bridge antenna, 1 mesh-UMAD access point, 1 switchbox (repeat for home and visitor)
You will need 1 power outlet for each sideline power supply: home and visitor. Mount the 2 antennas to one of the stands and place it at the 35 yard line.
The round bridge antenna will point at the matching press box antenna as indicated by the label. Be sure the antenna has a clear and straight line of sight with no obstructions.
The skinny mesh antenna requires the booster and should be pointed down the sideline towards the ios devices. These provide the SCH- and SCV-Sideline-WiFi access for the sideline iPads and will ensure fast download speeds.
Any iPad can connect to the SkyCoach network via the provided access point ("WiFi") or connect directly via an ethernet adapter and switch port. Your switchbox provides 4 ethernet access points.
- 1 AC red/black stickered antenna for home sideline to bridge to the pressbox
- 1 AC red/white/black stickered antenna for visitor sideline to bridge to the pressbox
- 2 Mesh-UMAD Sideline-WiFi antenna to connect to devices on the sideline
- SCH-Sideline-XXXXX with switchbox for the home sideline iPads
- SCV-Sideline-XXXXX with switchbox for the visitor sideline iPads
- 2 Switchboxes
END ZONE STATION: 1 bridge antenna, 1 RCK, 1 powertube
You will need 2 power outlets: one for the powertube and one to power the RCK, both pictured below. The antenna will point at the matching press box antenna as indicated by the label.
You can mount the red/white round bridge antenna to the leg of your end zone tripod or camera stand. Be creative or even switch the ethernet cable for a longer one to get the best position for your antenna.
*Be sure the antenna has a clear and straight line of sight with no obstructions and avoiding the field goal post.
- 1 AC red/white stickered antenna in the end zone to bridge to the pressbox
-
1 ethernet cable for your RCK
- 1 powertube
2 POWER SUPPLY types for this model:
Powertube
- Powertube with 1 white POE injector
- The cables crossover to exit
-
The red POE24 port on the injector uses a 10' ethernet cable to connect to the Main port on the round antenna
- The LAN port on the injector can be left empty OR connect a device (like RCK or iPad) to the network
Switchbox (for coach room)
-
Switchbox with 1 white POE injector
- LAN connects to switch
- The cables exit through designated slots
- The red POE24 port on the injector uses a 10' ethernet to connect the Main port on the Mesh SC-CoachBox-WiFi bunny antenna
- PORT 1 on the switch uses a 100' ethernet to connect the LAN2 port on the round bridge antenna in the Host Box
- The open switch ports can be left empty OR used to hardwire iPads to the network using an etherent adapter
Switchbox (for sideline)
-
Switchbox with 1 white POE injector
- LAN connects to switch
- The cables exit through designated slots
- The red POE24 port on the injector uses a 10' ethernet to connect the Main port on the round antenna
- The LAN2 port on the round antenna then connects to the mesh-UMAD SC-Sideline-WiFi antenna with rectangular booster
- The open switch ports can be left empty OR used to hardwire iPads to the network using an etherent adapter
RCK Pro (Remote Camera Kit)
Power the RCK.
- Connect the HDMI from camera to HDMI-IN port on the RCK to capture the camera feed.
- Connect the ethernet labeled "RCK Only" to put the camera feed on the SkyCoach network.
Once you get all 4 check marks on the RCK you can join the event.
ONE person will clip the plays for the entire SkyCoach system by hitting the start circle and stop square. This person can clip plays from any ONE RCK or from a remote control iPad.
